Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences successfully organized the Alumni Meet 2025 on 12th December 2025 to reconnect with its former students and strengthen the bond between alumni and the institution. The event served as a platform for sharing experiences, networking, and fostering a sense of belonging among the graduates.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the Director, USCS, Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, followed by inspiring words from the Head of Department, USCS, Prof. (Dr.) Sameer Dev Sharma, which set a positive and motivating tone for the gathering. A special highlight of the occasion was the recognition of the Gold Medallists of the 2025 batch: Ms. Sakshi Rahiwal (MCA), Ms. Mehak (BCA) and Ms. Smriti Joshi (B.Sc. IT).
The interaction sessions were enriched by alumni Mr. Deepak Singh, Ms. Sakshi Soni, and Ms. Ritika, who shared their professional journeys, industry experiences, and valuable insights with the students. Adding a unique perspective, Mr. Sahil Kathait shared his inspiring journey of choosing the Defence Services over the corporate sector, motivating students to consider diverse career paths. The Alumni Meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni, faculty members, and student volunteers of USCS, with student cultural performances adding to the spirit of the event.
The event was successfully organized by the Alumni Coordinator, Mr. Gaurav Chaudhary, with the dedicated support of Head Academic and Non-Academic Event Ms. Manisha Saini, Ms. Dimple Chaudhary and Mr. Ajay Singh Rawat-Cultural Head. The program concluded with a group photograph and a shared commitment to organizing more such interactive sessions in the future.
