Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences actively participated in the 6th Annual National Conference of the Epidemiology Foundation of India (EFICON 2025) as part of an educational visit aimed at enhancing students’ academic and professional skills. The three-day conference, held from 11th to 13th November 2025, was organized by the Epidemiology Foundation of India and facilitated by the Centre of Community Medicine and the Department of Microbiology, AIIMS New Delhi. It focused on strengthening the understanding and application of evidence-based science among health professionals.
A total of 36 students and faculty members, including Mr. Gopal and Ms. Kritika Saxena from the MHA and MPH programs of UCHS, attended the conference. Expert lectures and scientific discussions promoted analytical thinking, scientific literacy, and data-driven decision-making, supporting enhanced capabilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs. An exclusive educational tour was also organized for the students, offering hands-on exposure to healthcare systems, hospital administration processes, and community health initiatives, further strengthening applied learning and professional competencies.
