To mark Hindi Diwas and highlight the cultural and literary significance of Hindi, the School of Liberal Arts organized “Hindi Diwas Celebration” on 18th September 2025. The celebration aimed to recognize Hindi not merely as a language but as a symbol of unity, heritage, and creativity. The program began with a dance performance where students showcased India’s cultural vibrancy through graceful expressions and movements. The performance served as a lively opening, capturing the festive spirit of the occasion. Following this, a poetry session was held, where students and emerging voices presented their self-composed as well as classical Hindi poems. The recitations reflected themes of identity, cultural pride, and the timeless beauty of Hindi literature, resonating deeply with the audience. The final segment featured a short theatrical play performed by students that creatively depicted the role of Hindi as a language of expression, social connection, and unity. The play engaged the audience with its message as well as its energetic performance. The program successfully met its objective of fostering respect for Hindi, providing a platform for young talent, and strengthening community bonds through shared cultural celebration. In conclusion, the Hindi Diwas celebration was not just a cultural event but also a reminder of the relevance of Hindi in today’s world. It inspired participants to value their linguistic heritage while recognizing its global importance. The event was duly coordinated by Mr. Tushar Gaur, Assistant Professor, SLA.
