The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, organized a guest lecture on “From Ideas to Publication: Skill Development in Research Writing” on 18th September 2025 to promote research and enhance the quality of original manuscripts. The lecture was delivered by Md. Sadique Hussain, Researcher and Academician, who has been continuously contributing to scientific advancement with several publications in esteemed journals. Students of M.Pharm. and B.Pharm. final year actively participated in the training session.
The session included knowledge of the following topics: research design and methodology, literature review and citation management, manuscript structure and formatting, writing for publication, peer review and revision processes, and ethical considerations in research and writing. By attending the lecture, participants gained valuable knowledge and skills that enhanced their ability to conduct and communicate research effectively. It was a transformative experience, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their academic and professional pursuits.
The event was successfully guided and conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Director, UIPS, and coordinated by Mrs. Bhavya Gupta, Assistant Professor, Pharmacology, UIPS.
