Guest Lecture on Panchakarma

The Women's Cell of the School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS) organized a guest lecture on 12 September 2025 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The main objective of the lecture was to create awareness regarding the five important Ayurvedic therapies required to cleanse the human body. 

The Coordinator of the Women's Cell, Dr. Jyoti Ramojwar, Assistant Professor at SALS, welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants. The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries. 

The Director of the School of Applied and Life Sciences, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, addressed the gathering, highlighting the objectives of the guest lecture and encouraging students to apply the knowledge of Panchakarma therapies in their daily lives. 

The Guest Speaker, Dr. Vidyarani Joshi, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Kriya Sharir (Human Physiology), Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research, Uttaranchal University, delivered a talk on significant health-related parameters. She educated the participants on unhealthy eating habits, the Tridosha theory, different types of Ayurvedic therapies, the benefits of Panchakarma, stress management, skin disorders, and various other health issues that can be effectively treated through Ayurveda. Her lecture emphasized the causes of different human disorders and diseases, precautions to avoid them, and encouraged the audience to adopt Ayurvedic techniques in daily life. She also informed the gathering about the facilities available at the Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research, Uttaranchal University. 

All faculty members and students of SALS attended the event.
