August 8, 2025: To mark the beginning of an exciting academic journey, Uttaranchal College of Nursing, Uttaranchal University, organized a vibrant five-day Student Induction Programme from August 4 to 8, 2025. The event was designed not only to orient students to the academic framework but also to make them feel at home in their new campus environment.
The programme opened with a warm welcome for the freshers, followed by introductions with faculty and a guided tour of classrooms, laboratories, and facilities. Over the course of five days, students engaged in a variety of sessions, including anti-ragging awareness workshops, presentations on the nursing syllabus, ERP and library orientation, and interactive activities that fostered peer bonding and self-expression.
A special highlight was the visit to the Uttaranchal Diagnostic Centre & Hospital, connecting students with their parent institution’s healthcare environment. The grand finale featured the ceremonial lamp lighting and inspiring addresses by esteemed dignitaries — the President, Vice President, Vice Chancellor, and Pro Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University. The event also showcased cultural performances, adding energy and joy to the celebration.
With a perfect blend of academic guidance, awareness, and cultural vibrancy, the five-day induction programme set the stage for the freshers to begin their nursing education journey with enthusiasm, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.
