The event began with an inaugural session during which the Director and Principal of UCHS addressed the gathering, highlighting the harmful consequences of ragging and reaffirming the institution’s zero-tolerance policy. Newly admitted students across all programmes, including BPT, BMLT, BMRIT, BOTT, B.OPTM, MPH, and MHA, participated in the event. This was followed by a slogan recitation activity, where freshers energetically presented thought-provoking slogans advocating friendship, equality, and respect. The recitation created an engaging atmosphere that encouraged students to express themselves confidently while reinforcing positive messages. Additionally, an e-poster presentation was held, where participants demonstrated their insights through impactful visuals and messages against ragging. The posters reflected students’ awareness and dedication to fostering a welcoming environment.
The event concluded with a collective anti-ragging pledge taken by all students, emphasising their responsibility to uphold a culture of safety and solidarity. Overall, the celebration proved to be an inspiring platform to spread awareness and strengthen the spirit of unity within the college community.
