A career counselling session for the students of the School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS) was organized as a part of student induction programme on 25 August 2025 to provide valuable insights into career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. The session was conducted by Mr. Sovan Pal, General Manager, Rhydburg Pharmaceuticals, Dehradun.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to the guest by Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, Director of SALS. The session was coordinated by Dr. Nishesh Sharma.
During his talk, Mr. Sovan Pal highlighted diverse career prospects in pharmaceuticals, including roles in research and development, quality control, regulatory affairs, production management, and marketing. He also shared practical guidance on essential skills, industry expectations, and strategies for professional growth.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A round, where students gained clarity about career paths and emerging trends in the pharmaceutical sector.
