The Farewell Celebration for the Final Year Batch of 2025 was successfully organized on May 26, 2025, to honour and appreciate the graduating students’ contributions, achievements, and memorable journey within the institution. The event aimed to provide a meaningful, joyful, and emotional closure for the outgoing batch (2021-2025) as they transit themselves to the next phase of their lives. A total of 368 students graduated from the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, representing the distinguished departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Civil Engineering (CE).
The event commenced with an inspiring motivational speech by Prof. (Dr.) Sumit Chaudhary, Director of the institution, followed by a heartfelt address by Dr. Madhu Kirola, Head of the Department. Their words deeply resonated with the students, offering encouragement and best wishes for their future endeavours.
As part of the celebration, the day was observed as "Scribble Day," during which students wrote messages, shared memories, and expressed their feelings by scribbling on each other’s clothes- a fun and emotional tradition marking the end of their college journey. A photo session with all faculty members, final-year coordinators and mentors, the alumni coordinator, and all B. Tech final-year students captured these special moments, preserving the essence of the day.
The event concluded with the distribution of farewell cards to the graduating students, serving as tokens of love, appreciation, and a heartfelt goodbye from the institution.
