The School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS) celebrated National Science Day on 28 February 2025 with great enthusiasm, showcasing the innovative and scientific spirit of students and faculty. The event was inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Dr Abhishek Joshi, Executive Director, Students Affairs & IT Services, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice- Chancellor, Dr Soban Lal, MD Rhydburg Pharma, Prof (Dr) Ajay Singh, Director, SALS.
Various events were organized by different departmental clubs to mark the occasion, encouraging scientific inquiry, creativity, and entrepreneurship. The Resonance Club from the Department of Chemistry organized an engaging Model Presentation competition. The Biogenerika Club from the Department of Biotechnology conducted a Poster and Oral Presentation session the event was judged by esteemed faculty members who provided valuable feedback. The Incredible Club from the Department of Food Technology set up Entrepreneurship and Innovative Stalls. The stalls showcased the students' entrepreneurial skills and their ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions.
The 2 Infinity and Beyond Club from the Department of Mathematics organized Sports Events, blending physical activity with mathematical concepts. The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where (Prof.) Dr. Ajay Singh Director SALS felicitated all the winners of respective events.
The event successfully coordinated by Dr VK Srivastava, Dr Nishesh Sharma, Mr Yogesh Awasthi, Dr Shivam Pandey, Dr Nitin Pandey and Mrs Pratibha Pandey along with faculty members Dr Shefalee Singh and Ms Charu Saklani.
