Pre-Placement Talk on "How to Enter into the Pharmaceutical Industry."

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University organized a Pre-Placement Talk on "How to Enter into the Pharmaceutical Industry", on 23 November 2024. B Pharm & M Pharm students attended an insightful talk by Mankind Pharmaceuticals in the UIPS Seminar Hall. The session, led by Mr Ashish Lakera, Senior Scientist and FARD Head of Mankind Pharmaceuticals, focused on the topic "How to Enter into the Pharmaceutical Industry." 

Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Director, UIPS, addressed the students in the beginning followed by Mr Lakera who shared valuable insights about the pharmaceutical industry, discussing current industry trends, the importance of research and development, and the essential skills required for success. He provided practical tips on navigating a career in this dynamic field, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptability. Students actively engaged in the session, asking questions, and sharing their thoughts, which led to lively discussions and a deeper understanding of the industry. 

The event was an excellent opportunity for students to form a network with a leading industry professional, fostering connections that could be beneficial for their future careers. The enthusiasm and engagement from the students were palpable, making the event a resounding success.
