The Hospitality Club of USHHM recently organized an insightful industrial visit for students at the mid-scale hotel Drona GMVN in Dehradun. The event aimed to provide students with a firsthand experience of hotel operations and a deeper understanding of the hospitality industry.
During the visit, students were guided through various departments of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage. They engaged in interactive sessions with the hotel management, who shared valuable insights about day-to-day operations, customer service, and the challenges faced in the hospitality sector. The experience allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge from their studies with real-world applications. They learned about the importance of teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
