Workshop on “Data Analysis and Interpretation: Revealing and Explaining Trends”

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a workshop on “Data Analysis and Interpretation: Revealing and Explaining Trends”, on 13 and 14 September 2024. The objective of the workshop was to explore and promote the basic knowledge about data interpretation and analysis. Demonstration of advanced design of experiment softwares and interpretation of statistical outcomes, quadratic equation and response plots was also a part of the workshop.  

Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Director UIPS; Guest Speakers, Dr Priyank Purohit, Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy, Graphic Era Hill University; Prof (Dr) Naveen Chandra Joshi, Associate Professor, DRI, Uttaranchal University; Dr Nidhi Nainwal, Associate Professor, UIPS; Dr Supriyo Saha, Associate Professor, UIPS and Dr Rajendra Awasthi, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Science, University of Petroleum, collectively inaugurated the event along with faculty members. 

A total of 150 B Pharm, M Pharm students, Research Scholars and faculty members actively participated in the workshop from different institutes and universities including Shobhit University, Graphic Era university, Quantum University, IFTM University, Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University and many more with full enthusiasm and interest. 

A post workshop assessment was also conducted. The winner of workshop assessment was Mr. Rohan Gandhi, B. Pharm third year student from Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Nidhi Gairola, Head of Department, UIPS. The workshop was duly coordinated by Faculty Coordinators Dr Pallavi Chand, Ms Yogita Ale and Ms Mansi Butola, Assistant Professor, UIPS.
