On 26 August 2023, the II- year students at Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences hosted a vibrant Freshers' Party to warmly welcome the new batch of freshers. The event aimed to help juniors ease into college life and establish connections with their seniors in a friendly atmosphere.
The event began with a welcome address by senior students Ziya Ansari and Faiza, setting a welcoming tone for the juniors. Each fresher introduced themselves in an ice-breaking session. Following this, seniors organized a series of engaging activities, including games, quizzes, and fun competitions.
The entertainment highlight of the evening was a showcase of cultural performances. Both juniors and seniors took the stage, displaying talents in dance, music, and skits, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience. The much-awaited Mr and Ms Fresher added an extra thrill to the evening, where juniors impressed the crowd with their charm, confidence, and wit. The titles were presented to Ajay Singh Digari and Rajlakshmi.
The Freshers' Party was a resounding success, providing an unforgettable start to the juniors' college journey and setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead. The event was coordinated by student coordinators Ojasvi, Alok, Rushita, Harshit and faculty members of Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences under the guidance of Dr Kartikey, Joint Registrar and Director, UCHS.
