The Marketing Club at Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organised the "Ad War Mantra Competition," spearheaded by Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean Academics & Dean, UIM on 14 March, 2023. The event was commenced with a pious lamplightening followed by University Kulgeet. Dr Suri, Dean Academics & Dean, UIM addressed the participants with his motivational address. He highlighted that formulating creative Ads inspire the students by showcasing their innovative ideas, designs and storytelling techniques. He drew parallels from industry giants like Colgate and Coca Cola. On 12 March 2024, Stage 1 i.e. Idea Submission took place where 63 teams participated, followed by Stage 2: Packaging and Labelling, on March 13, 2024, where 17 chosen teams had a day to refine their product advertising, labeling, and packaging.

On 14th March 2024, culminating the final stage of “Ad War Mantra Competition, at UIM Seminar Hall, in which these 17 teams presented their product in front of the Judges, Dr Anil Singh Chauhan, Associate Professor, UIM, Dr Babita Rawat, Associate Professor, UIM and Mr Prasenjeet Samanta, Assistant Professor, UIM. While winners received coveted Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, all participants were acknowledged with certificates, underscoring the event's commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in marketing endeavors. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr Prasenjeet Samanta, Assistant Professor, UIM. The MoCs of the event were Jagriti Kumari and Gyanendra Mani Tripathi (students of MBA II). The event was attended by the faculties and students of UIM. The event was well appreciated by the students.
