Law College Dehradun under the aegis of ‘The Moot Court Society’ proudly organized the TRI-LEGAL 2.0: The Law Fest, 2023 which aimed to refine the researching, drafting, advocacy and analytical skills of students through Intramural Paperless Trial Advocacy Competition, PIL Drafting and Client Counselling Competition.
Intramural Paperless Trial Advocacy Competition- The Mock Demonstration was held on 12 October and the final competition included 16 teams, chosen through a rigorous Memorial Knockout round. The event concluded with the Finals, judged by Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna and Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat.
Intramural PIL Drafting Competition- The top five participants were selected to participate in the oral round held on 30 October adjudged by Dr Ramakant Tripathi and Ms. Hadiya Khan and the students displayed exemplary advocacy skills and awareness of current events.
Intramural Client Counselling Competition- The Mock Demonstration was organised on 10th October and the competition included 18 teams. Team Dumbledore and Team Dobby demonstrated exceptional advocacy skills in the finals on 27 October where Dr Anjum Parvez and Dr Radhey Shyam Jha, served as the judges.
The Valedictory Ceremony- 14 March 2024 witnessed the presence of the Executive Director- Student Affairs and IT Services, (Dr) Abhishek Joshi, along with Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, and Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat.
