Uttaranchal School of Hotel and Hospitality Management recently hosted an exhilarating Intra Chef competition themed "Flavours of India" on 15 March 2024. The event showcased the culinary talents of students, adding a dash of healthy competition to the mix. Esteemed judges including Mr Manish Badoni, Principal, USHHM, Ms Sonakshi Bhatiya, UIM, and Dr Babita Rawat, UIM evaluated the participants based on creativity, theme adherence, presentation, cleanliness, and, most importantly, taste.
After meticulous deliberations, the winners emerged:
First Prize: Team 4 comprising Jharna, IV Semester BHMCT, Suryansh Gurung, II Semester BHMCT, and Kegenganba Hemam, II Semester B.Sc. H&HA
Second Prize: Team 6 featuring Kareena, KumKum, and Nisha Gangwar, II Semester, BHMCT
Third Prize: Team 5, including Abhishek Thapa, Mayank Thapa, and Tejasvi, IV Semester BHMCT
This competition not only celebrated culinary excellence but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie and growth among aspiring chefs.
