The Cultural and Event Committee of Uttaranchal University organized “UU-SUPERSTAR” on March 15, 2024 at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium. Open to all university students, the competition garnered enthusiastic participation featuring diverse range of talents, from soulful vocal performances to captivating dance forms. The event commenced with the blessings of the Hon'ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi and the Chief Guest Smt. Anuradha Joshi.
The contestants performed under the following categories as below:
- Solo Dance Battle
- Duet Western Dance
- Duet classical/Semi classical dance
- Solo singing
- Duet singing
- Group Dance
The audience danced to the beat of the rhythms, sang along with the talented singers completely overwhelmed by their stage presence and creativity. Judges praised the performers for their versatility, making it a tough decision to select the winners.
In the end, two contestants were celebrated for their exceptional skill, passion, and dedication to their craft, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Siddhant Singh Chauhan and Somsree Guha were chosen as the UU- Superstars 2024.
