National Immunization Day Celebrated at Community Health Centre Sahaspur

 

Uttaranchal College of Nursing, Uttaranchal University, organized a Health Education program on National Immunization Day on 16 March 2024 at the Community Health Centre, Sahaspur. The event commenced with a health talk at the CHC, aimed at educating mothers and the community about the significance of immunization and raising awareness about the immunization schedule. 

Students from the B Sc Nursing V Semester actively participated in group activities conducted within the hospital premises. Members including Momeen, Laxmi, Jyoti, Neha, Anjali, Gauri, and Tushar, under the supervision of Mrs Veena, a staff nurse at CHC, and Ms Tanuja, a faculty member at UCN, imparted health education. Various audio-visual aids such as flashcards, pamphlets, and charts were used to simplify the audience's immunization information. 

At the conclusion of the program, heartfelt gratitude was extended to the CHC staff, volunteers, healthcare professionals, sponsors, and attendees for their valuable contributions to the event's success. Their dedication to promoting World Immunization Day is commendable and deeply appreciated.
