An International Guest Lecture

 

The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical sciences organised an International Guest Lecture on 16 March 2024 on National Immunization Day. Prof (Dr) Arli Aditya Parikesit, Vice-Rector of Research and Industrial Collaboration and Professor of Bioinformatics, Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences, Indonesia was invited as the Guest speaker. The topic of the Guest lecture was Immunoinformatics. Prof (Dr) Arli Aditya Parikesit spoke about COVID-19. Although it was currently under control, now it was in endemic stage. Vaccine is one way to prevent COVID. Epitope based vaccine was currently not in the mainstream of product development. Therefore, this lecture promoted the design of COVID-19 vaccine based on epitopes prediction.
