National Science Day-2024

 

School of Agriculture (SOA) celebrated National Science Day-2024 on 28 February 2024 under the theme of ‘Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat’. The activity was organized under the aegis of Cultural Committee, SOA by Poster Making and Presentation Competition. Participants had to make poster in two hours and later had to present to the judges. Ms Anjali Rawat and Ms Krishty Patel anchored the celebration. To initiate the celebration Prof (Dr) Mahipal Singh, Dean of School of Agriculture welcomed the attendees of the day. He quoted by saying that “Leveraging indigenous technology is essential for a country to empower its communities in the ongoing battle against marginalisation, poverty and impoverishment.” He also reminded Sir C V Raman on the day and his achievements. Later, Dr Rajendra Prasad, Head of the Department blessed the students and showed the significance of the day and the theme. Judge of the day were Mr Jayanti Ballabh and Dr Sandeep Kumar.
