The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Dehradun hosted a two-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning on 28-29 February 2024. This event featured Mr Tushar Kumar from Insergo Technologies, Dehradun, as the keynote speaker.
Mr Tushar Kumar's engaging session commenced at 10:30 AM in the UIT Seminar Hall graced by Prof (Dr) S D Pandey, Dean UIT, and all the members of faculty. Mr Kumar delved into the intricacies of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, covering topics such as machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and image processing. Attendees were captivated by his expertise and practical demonstrations, which included hands-on sessions on popular data science and AI platforms.
The event concluded with participants gaining a deeper understanding of AI's potential and its applications in real-world scenarios. Mr Anurag Kumar and Ms Roosha Shamoon expressed their gratitude to Mr Tushar Kumar for his invaluable insights, emphasizing the significance of such workshops in fostering innovation and knowledge exchange within the academic community.
The workshop not only provided a comprehensive overview of AI but also equipped students with practical skills and a renewed enthusiasm for exploring the possibilities of advanced AI systems in their academic and professional pursuits.
Under the leadership of Prof (Dr) Sumit Choudhary, the Head of the Computer Science & Engineering Department, and with the support of Dr Madhu Kirola, Mr Anurag Kumar, Ms Roosha Shamoon, and Ms Amita Bisht, the workshop attracted 250 participants from the 2nd Year/Semester 4th of the B. Tech CSE program.
