The Uttaranchal Institute of Management at Uttaranchal University organised an event "Mann Ki Baat" on 29 February 2024. The purpose of this event was to facilitate a dialogue between management students and the administration, the event focused on addressing a wide range of academic challenges faced by management students, including curriculum issues, teaching methodologies, examination patterns, and resource constraints. This dialogue encouraged transparency and trust between students and the administration.
The event aimed to create a conducive environment for students to express their concerns openly and constructively. Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM and Dr Tilottama Singh, the HoD, UIM, actively listening to the concerns raised by students. Their presence demonstrated the administration's commitment to addressing student issues promptly and effectively. Discussions during the event were characterized by constructive dialogue, with students offering valuable insights and suggestions for improvement. Concerns raised during the event were not only heard but also addressed promptly by the administration. Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri assured students of necessary actions and follow-up measures to resolve the identified issues. The successful completion of the Mann ki Baat underscores the importance of open communication and active engagement within the academic community.
The event facilitated meaningful dialogue and laid the foundation for collaborative problem-solving. Moving forward, it is essential to build on the momentum generated by this event and continue working towards enhancing the academic experience for all stakeholders.
