Health Camp

 

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Dehradun, Uttaranchal University organized a free Health Check-up Camp under the banner of Pharmacology Club in Panchayat Bhavan, Shivpuri, Gram Panchayat, Hariyawala, Klan, Vikash Khand, Sahaspur, Dehradun in collaboration with Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences on 10/02/2024.  

 

Dr Satwinder, Gynecologist, Dr Sonali, ENT, Dr Deepanshu, General Physician, Dr Preeti, Gynecologist and Dr Hemlata, General Physician, and their team checked the patients and prescribed necessary medication, actions, and precautions if needed to be taken. Besides health check-up, Patient counselling and distribution of Medicine was also done by the Students of the Pharmacology Club.  

 

A total of 116 patients have registered for the check-up of major complaints like Fever, Cough, Breathing Problems, Constipation, Eye allergy, Dental problems etc. for which they were provided with the appropriate medicine as prescribed by the team of doctors. Apart from this, BMI, Blood sugar, and Blood Pressure were also checked. The camp was successfully bound up with student co-ordination. 

  

The Camp was conceptualized and conducted under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS. The camp was Co-ordinated by Mrs Pallavi Ghildiyal, Assistant Professor, Ms Sonali Rawat, Assistant Professor, Mr. Ayush Dangwal, Lecturer with Student coordinator Mr Aditya Chauhan along with team members Mr Abdur Rahman, Aman Bhatt, Khushi, Shaheen Anjum, Deepak Saini and Swaita Negi.
