A free Health Check-up Camp

 

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, under the banner of the Pharmacognosy Club, organized a free Health Check-up Camp in collaboration with Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences and Diagnostic Center at Shri Sidhpeeth Sanatan Dharm Mandir, Near Shri Gurudwara, Prem Nagar, Dehradun, on 23/02/2024. 

The camp was conceptualized and conducted under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS. Mrs Nidhi Gairola, Assistant Professor, Mrs Pallavi Ghildiyal, Assistant Professor, Ms Sonali Rawat, Assistant Professor, Mr Ayush Dangwal, Lecturer, along with Student Coordinator Mr Aditya Chauhan and team members Mr Abdur Rahman, Siddharth Pathak, Aman Bhatt, Sachin Verma, Abhishek Kumar, Dipesh Sharma, and Om Singh, coordinated the camp. 

Dr Sonali, ENT, Dr Deepanshu, General Physician, Dr Preeti, Gynaecologist, and Dr Hemlata, General Physician, along with their renowned team, attended the camp. After the check-up, doctors prescribed Ayurvedic medicines and herbs. In addition to the health check-up, patient counselling and distribution of medicine, the benefits of ayurveda were also discussed by the Pharmacy students.  

60 patients registered for the check-up, addressing major complaints, and were provided with the appropriate medicine prescribed by the team of doctors. The camp ended successfully with student coordination.
