Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is organized a “Cloth Donation Drive to State Mental Health Institute, Selaqui, Dehradun” on World Mental Health Day 2023. The objective of the visit was to expose the students to real-time hospital work and a donation drive to encourage society to help needy and poor people.
A Hospital Visit provides the required exposure to the students and gives them a practical edge which helps them to understand the theoretical aspects accurately. A proper balance of theoretical and practical exposure transforms the student of today into forming tomorrow’s competent professional.
Dr. Vinay Sharma, Chief Medical Officer, welcomed the students and told them about the hospital's work, which covered all the important Departments like OPD, IPD, Emergency ward and dispensary. It was an enriching experience for students as they explored the work culture of the hospital. He appreciates the initiation of UIPS, Uttaranchal University for donation drive which will help the needy and poor people.
