Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organized a seminar on "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" on 5th September 2023 at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, Uttaranchal University.
Entrepreneurship and innovation are the cornerstones of economic growth and sustainability in today's dynamic business landscape. To shed light on these critical aspects, we are honored to host Mr. Harjinder Singh, the Managing Director of Cheema Boilers Ltd., a renowned figure in the industry who has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurship and innovation throughout his career.
Dr. Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM, welcomed the guest and introduced the dignitaries through a formal welcome note.
Shri Jitender Joshi ji, Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, felicitated the guest and addressed the students about the importance of a strong willpower and dedication behind any successful venture.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM and Dean Academics, Uttaranchal University shared with the students about the government policies that are available especially for the students who want to become entrepreneurs.
Mr. Harjinder Singh Cheema, in his intellectual session, shared his personal journey and experiences as an entrepreneur. Insights into the founding and growth of Cheema Boilers Ltd., a pioneering company in the energy sector. The role of innovation in the success story of Cheema Boilers Ltd. He focused on the Entrepreneurship challenges; a deep dive into the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, with real-life examples from Mr. Singh's journey, Strategies for overcoming obstacles and turning them into opportunities and the importance of resilience and adaptability in entrepreneurship.
At the end question and answer session was held where a chance for the audience to engage with Mr. Singh directly. Questions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and business leadership were entertained. Valuable insights and advice were given from the expert. His session instigated the students to establish themselves both professionally and personally in this competitive era of technology and innovation.
