Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organised Seminar on ACCA and CMA Courses: Empowering BBA and B.Com Students at Uttaranchal University on 23 August 2023. This seminar aims to equip students with the knowledge and understanding of these internationally recognized professional qualifications and their significant benefits for those interested in accounting, finance, and management fields. Dr. Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM was the MoC of the event.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM welcomed the distinguished speakers from the accounting and finance industry that is ACCA and CMA-certified professionals, faculty and the students of UIM.
Mr. Vikas Khosla, Zonal Head ISDC explained the importance of ACCA qualification, its global recognition, and its relevance in the business world. He also gave an overview of the Understanding the structure of the ACCA program, including the knowledge and skills developed at each level.
Mr. Vineet Pawar, Relationship Development Manager IMA addressed that obtaining a recognized professional qualification adds credibility to a student's profile.
Mr. Rohan Rajvanshi, Business Relationship Manager-North ACCA told that how ACCA and CMA complement BBA and B.Com degrees, enhancing students' knowledge and employability. He also discussed the competitive edge of holding both a degree and a professional qualification in the job market.
Mr. Prabhanshu Mittal, HoE Northeast & West highlighted the international mobility that these qualifications offer, enabling professionals to work across borders. The industry trends and demand for ACCA and CMA professionals in various sectors.
Mr. Nikhil Sharma, Regional Manager North ISDC discussed the effective study strategies and time management tips for successfully completing the qualifications. He talked about the support and resources provided by UIM, Uttaranchal University to assist students in their ACCA and CMA journeys.
Dr. Anil Singh Chauhan, Associate Professor, UIM proposed the vote of thanks to all the dignitaries & students concluding that the session was interactive, informative & was a great success. More than 400 Students from UIM Department, Uttaranchal University had participated.
