Workshop on Biotechnological innovation and advancement to address the challenges faced by different industries along with global environmental issues was organized by Biogenerika student club, School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS) Uttaranchal University on 19 April 2023. The workshop comprised of technical sessions and model presentation by participants. The major focus of the workshop was confined to how biotechnological tools can be applied to address challenges of solid waste management, pollution, prospects of biodegradable plastic a few to mention. The workshop was conceptualized and executed under guidance of Prof. Ajay Singh (Dean SALS) and co-ordinated by Dr. Nishesh Sharma and Dr. Sonika Kalia. Best model presentation were also awarded.
