On 21st April, 2023 Students of Uttaranchal School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun visited Amar Ujala Printing Press set up in Selaqui , Dehradun . They witnessed printing of newspaper through huge printing towers in the press. This was an industrial visit for them as a part of practical exposure for them.
A film was also showcased by Printing Press Production Manager to tell them how to design/publish and print a newspaper. Story Books were distributed among students by Amar Ujala Printing Press officials. They enjoyed and learnt the moment. Director, USJMC Dr. Vikash Singh encouraged Students to develop skills to work in Print Media Industry in future.
Students excitingly shared their experiences during the visit, they also got certificates from Amar Ujala Team for their participation in these learning hours. The Visit was co-ordinated by Assistant Professor, USJMC Mr. Pawan Dabral.
