A scene like the Supreme Court of India was witnessed at the Law College Dehradun of Uttaranchal University on 26th February 2023. The occasion was the 7th Edition of National Moot Court Competition-2023 of Law College Dehradun. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sharad Kumar Sharma of Nainital High Court was the chief guest and presiding judge on the occasion while District and Sessions Judge Dehradun Mr. Pradeep Pant; Senior Advocate of The Supreme Court of India Mr. S.B. Upadhyay; Advocate-on-Record and Senior partner of Karanjawala & Com. Ms. Nandani Gore and Dean of Law College Dehradun Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna were present as judges of the event. Chancellor of the University Shri Jitender Joshi & Vice President of the University Prof. Satbir Singh Sehgal graced the occasion as the guests of honor.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sharad Kumar Sharma in his address said that in the profession of law there is an opportunity to learn every day and a legal practitioner remains a learner throughout his life. He said that legal profession is the most rewarding profession in which along with money, time and freedom, one gets the reward of self-satisfaction. He commented on the presentation of the participants and described the level of Moot Court of Law College Dehradun as excellent and gave tips to the students for ideal advocacy.
