Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, under the banner of Guard of Green Club, Uttaranchal University organized a poster making competition occasion of World Water Day, 22 March 2022. The theme for the poster presentation was – “Groundwater: Making the invisible visible”. The purpose of organizing this event is to spread the awareness about water pollution and how important is ground water for us. Through this students learn to express their ideas in a creative and meaningful way.
The participants were provided proper guidelines for making posters. Total 22 students participated in the event. A Jury committee was formed comprising of members those are expert in this field. The committee was headed by Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS. Three individuals being chosen as the top three rank holders: Mohit Dobriyal from D. Pharm 1st year, Versha Sharma from B. Pharm 2nd year, and Santripti Thapa from B. Pharm 1st year. All rank holders, as well as the participants, received certificates.
The Camp was conceptualized and conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS. The Camp was coordinated by Miss. Jaya Rautela, Assistant Professor, UIPS, and Miss. Mansi Butola, Assistant Professor, UIPS with Mr. Aayush and Mr. Utkarsh Trivedi as the student member of the Guard of Green Club.
Vote of thanks was proposed by event coordinator Miss. Jaya Rautela, Assistant Professor, UIPS. She expressed their vote of thanks towards Honorable Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi, Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof.( Dr.) Dharm Buddhi, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean of UIPS Dr. Vikash Jakhmola for the successful organization of event.
