The Cultural Committee of UIT has organized a “Tatto Art Competition” on the occasion of World Sparrow Day / World Happiness Day (20th March 2022) with full vivacity and festivity on Monday, 21/03/22. This day is celebrated to raise awareness and protection of sparrows, which is not commonly seen nowadays due to the increase in noise pollution. On this occasion, students’ enthusiasts have been shared to show their love and care for them especially when the harsh summer season is knocking on the door and the birds need cool shades and water just like humans.
The event was started with encouraging words by Prof. (Dr.) S. D. Pandey, Dean UIT. Dr. Bharti Ramola, Chairperson, Cultural Committee, Uttaranchal University, was the Judge of the event. The students from different colleges have participated in the event. Total of twenty teams have participated
During the event all the faculty members of the cultural committee were present. Students of Civil, CSE, and Mechanical Engineering volunteered to make the program successful. At the valedictory session, certificates were distributed to the winners and participants. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Pooja Joshi, Cultural Head, UIT.
