The School of Liberal Arts celebrated Teacher’s Day on 3 September 2026 with great enthusiasm, warmth, and gratitude. The event was organized by students of all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to acknowledge and honour the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping the academic, personal, and professional growth of students. The celebration served as a heartfelt expression of respect and appreciation for the dedication, guidance, and continuous support extended by teachers throughout the educational journey of every learner.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Director and Head of the Department. Students and faculty members felicitated the dignitaries and presented them with saplings as a symbol of respect and gratitude for their leadership, encouragement, and commitment towards academic excellence and holistic development.
A memorable cake-cutting ceremony added a joyful and celebratory spirit to the occasion, bringing teachers and students together in an atmosphere of warmth, camaraderie, and mutual appreciation. Students showcased their talents through a variety of cultural performances, including songs, dances, poetry recitations, speeches, dramatic acts, and musical presentations. These performances beautifully reflected their admiration and gratitude towards their teachers and highlighted the significant role teachers play as mentors, guides, motivators, and sources of inspiration.
To make the event more interactive and enjoyable, several engaging activities and games were organized for teachers.
