Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), Uttaranchal University, organized a seminar on Mulya Pravah 2.0 on Thursday, 13 August 2026, for newly admitted students. The programme provided an opportunity for the freshers to understand that education is not limited to academic knowledge but also involves the development of character, integrity, discipline, empathy, and responsible citizenship.
The speaker of the seminar was Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director, Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM). In his interaction with the freshers, he emphasized the importance of values in both personal and professional life.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri highlighted that professional knowledge and technical skills can help an individual build a career, but strong values and ethical conduct are essential for earning trust and achieving lasting success. His examples encouraged students to understand that even simple actions in everyday life being truthful, respecting others, taking responsibility for one's actions, helping those in need, maintaining discipline, and making the right choice even when no one is watching, reflect one's character.
The Mulya Pravah programme created a meaningful platform for interaction and reflection among the freshers. The session inspired students to begin their university journey with a strong sense of purpose and responsibility. The programme concluded with a positive message that true education is achieved when knowledge is complemented by values, character, and responsible action.
