The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Uttaranchal University organized a three-day online Autodesk India Design Week Training Program in association with ICT Academy, from 2nd to 4th April 2025. The event was tailored for students of B Tech Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with ICT Academy. The objective of the training program was to provide the foundational knowledge and practical skills to effectively use the software for 3D modelling, design, simulation, and manufacturing, enabling them to create and iterate on product ideas
Dr Yashwant Singh Bisht, Assistant Professor was the expert trainer of the programme. Mr Neerav, student of B Tech, Mechanical Engineering second year, delivered the welcome note.
Prof (Dr) Sumit Chaudhary, Director- UIT shared his valuable insights related to the training program objectives and fostering collaboration and innovation in product development. Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi extended his best wishes to the students and the entire Faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department for organizing the event.
Mr. Saurabh Aggarwal, Coordinator of Department, Mechanical Engineering highlighted the significance of software in the various domains of Mechanical Engineering, emphasizing Autodesk Fusion 360’s comprehensive capabilities. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by the event coordinator Mr Vivek John, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
