The Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), Uttaranchal University, organized an impactful international webinar titled “Airline Distribution and the Future of Airline Retailing” on 17 March, 2026. The session aimed to illuminate the fascinating turning point in the aviation industry, where digital platforms and data-driven personalization are redefining passenger experiences.
The event was conducted under the visionary guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM, and Prof. (Dr.) Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM. The formal proceedings commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, faculty, and students, followed by a formal introduction of the keynote speaker by the Director, UIM.
The session featured Ms. Ann Cederhall, a renowned international industry expert from Sweden and External Instructor for IATA Training. With extensive experience in airline strategy and distribution, Ms. Cederhall provided deep insights into global trends and real-world practices shaping the future of airline retailing. Her discourse emphasized that modern distribution is no longer merely about ticket sales but about creating seamless, customized travel journeys.
The presentation was followed by a dynamic Q&A session, where participants engaged with Ms. Cederhall on the evolving dynamics of the aviation sector.
