The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted an Industrial visit for B.Pharm. 2nd year & D.Pharm. 1st Year on 26th March 2026. An industrial visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and working environments. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications.
A well-known Organization, Ishaanav Nutraceuticals Pvt Ltd, located in Selaqui. Dehradun. The visit began with a guided tour of the facility and observed different departments such as production, quality control, packaging, and maintenance. Mr.K. Devasenapathi (Founder and Chairman of the Organization) briefly explained the Nutraceuticals Products Formulation and its Development. The Director of Plant Operations Mr. V.T. Anantanarayanan explained the working of machines, production techniques, quality assurance methods and also highlighted the Safety measures followed in the industry. Organization unit also focused into raw material processing, manufacturing steps, and final product delivery of Nutraceuticals products. An interactive session was conducted by Mr. Umpathy Director and Head of Quality department where students asked questions related to career opportunities, industrial challenges, and technological advancements. The experts shared valuable advice and practical knowledge. Mr. Abhishek Assistant Manager QA explain the role and responsibility of QA in pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Vikram, Senior Production Manager, skill fully coordinated and guided as the Production Manager during the industrial visit. Mr. Vijay (HR Head) arranged sessions with employees and department heads to give practical exposure to industrial operations.
The students expressed their appreciation to Honourable Chancellor Shri Jitendra Joshi, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, and Director of UIPS, Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, for making the organisation of the visit possible.
