A dynamic platform to present creativity, innovative techniques, and refined bartending skills, the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management proudly celebrated and organized an event titled “Behind the Bar – Timeless Classics & Modern Mixologists” on 23rd February 2026, World Bartenders’ Day, showcasing the vibrant art of mixology and beverage craftsmanship. The event provided students with an engaging platform to demonstrate their innovative ideas, modern techniques, and refined bartending skills.
A skillful fusion of traditional techniques with modern innovations, students impressed the audience with their creativity through unique twists in presentation, artistic garnishing, and a deep understanding of classical beverages. Their ability to blend tradition with innovation reflected both their technical knowledge and passion for the craft. The tasteful balance of flavors, aesthetic appeal, and confident presentation highlighted the evolving trends in modern mixology while honoring timeless classics.
Prof. Dr. Manish Badoni, Director, USHHM, graced the occasion and applauded the students for actively volunteering in the bartending practical sessions. He emphasized that such initiatives play a significant role in raising awareness about the art of bartending and its growing importance within the hospitality industry. He also extended his heartfelt appreciation to the faculty members for their coordination, dedication, and support in making the event a grand success.
A special note of thanks was extended to the faculty members who were actively involved in organizing the program. The event was successfully coordinated and managed by Mr. Vijay Pant and Ms. Neha Minocha (Assistant Professor & Event Coordinator, USHHM), whose efforts ensured its smooth execution.
