A meeting was conducted for the purpose of Faculty Semester Induction & Orientation Program, for Academic Year 2025-26 (Even Semester) on January 24, 2026, at Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences. The meeting was chaired by Principal, UCHS and commenced with a formal welcome to all the faculty members, following which the HoD, UCHS addressed the faculty members. The meeting focused on reviewing past academic activities and strengthening planning and implementation for the upcoming semester. Course files, coordinator files, and mentor files were examined, and constructive observations and suggestions were provided for improvement. Planning for the upcoming semester formed a major agenda item, with faculty proposing curricular and co-curricular activities aligned with academic goals and student development.
Collective recommendations emphasized timely execution and proper documentation. Regular updating of lesson plans, balanced distribution of course content, and efficient time management were stressed to avoid syllabus overload. Faculty were instructed to regularly update learning materials on the ERP–LMS and to conduct quizzes and assignments for continuous assessment. Students were encouraged to use national platforms such as SWAYAM and NPTEL for supplementary learning. Finally, research targets were reviewed, and faculty were motivated to pursue research, student involvement, and scholarly publications to enhance institutional academic output. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session and acknowledgement to all members.
