The Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management recently organized a seminar on International Internships & Placements, focusing on global opportunities and challenges faced by hospitality professionals. Mr. Dev Mallick from Capstone Education World highlighted the growing demand for skilled hospitality workers across borders, especially in countries like the UAE, Singapore, USA, New Zealand, Japan and Canada.  

They emphasized the need for adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and proficiency in global standards to succeed in diverse work environments. The seminar also addressed legal aspects, such as visa regulations, work permits, and taxation laws, which often pose challenges for professionals seeking employment abroad. Panel discussions encouraged students to explore internships and work-study programs that provide international exposure. 

With the hospitality industry rapidly evolving, the seminar underlined the importance of cross-border employment as a gateway to new career opportunities, offering students insights into how they can prepare for a dynamic, globalized job market.
