Uttaranchal College of Nursing, Uttaranchal University, celebrated Teacher’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on 5th September 2025 at the UCN Building. The theme for this year was “Inspiring the Next Generation of Learners.” The programme was organized by “Student Nurses Association”
The programme commenced at 11:00 AM with a beautiful welcome dance performance by Neha, 8th Semester student. To express gratitude and respect, the students presented saplings to the teachers, symbolizing growth and knowledge.
The celebration was filled with cultural and entertaining activities. A special ramp walk for teachers was organized, which created an engaging and cheerful atmosphere. Students also showcased their talent and cultural richness through various performances, including an Omen dance, South Indian dance, Punjabi dance, and a traditional Garhwali dance, adding vibrancy to the event.
In addition, several fun games and interactive activities were conducted exclusively for teachers, bringing joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Senior Faculty Member, Ms. Gulshan Attri, who appreciated the students’ efforts and expressed her gratitude for making the celebration memorable.
