Cultural Club, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University hosted a grand Teacher's Day celebration, organized by the students on 5th September, 2025 to express their deep gratitude and appreciation for their esteemed faculty members. The students expressed their creativity through a variety of acts, including mesmerizing dance performances that ranged from classical forms to energetic modern styles. The musical segment brought a soulful vibe to the celebration, with students performing both solo and group songs that echoed emotions of respect and gratitude. A special highlight of the event was the cake-cutting ceremony, where the faculty members joyfully participated, symbolizing the bond between teachers and students. Additionally, as a mark of respect, the students presented a token of gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM which was warmly received.
Towards the end of the Teacher's Day celebration, the students added an extra layer of excitement by organizing fun-filled games for the faculty members, creating a delightful and entertaining atmosphere. The fun games, specifically designed to engage the teachers and saw active participations from the faculty.
The successful Teacher's Day celebration was organized by Dr. Sonakshi Bhatia, Head- Cultural Club, UIM and team members Dr. Babita Rawat, Dr. Neha Singh, Mr. Rohit Dhyani, Mr. Hardev Singh and Dr. Adnan along with student committee under the leadership and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM and Dr. Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Tania- student Coordinator, Cultural Club, UIM who emphasized the importance of celebrating Teacher's Day as a reminder of the pivotal role that educators play in nurturing talent and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
