The School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University, through its Zenith: The Literary Club, organised a vibrant literary event titled “InkSpire: Where Ideas Take Flight” on September 25, 2025. The event successfully blended creativity, critical thought, and cultural expression, aligning with the UGC’s guidelines promoting debates, group discussions, and extempore activities based on the National Education Policy (NEP)2020.
InkSpire celebrated the spirit of intellectual curiosity and artistic freedom. True to its name, the event aimed to let ideas take flight — inspiring students to engage with literature, art, and performance while fostering innovation, collaboration, and reflective dialogue.

The event has provided a platform for students to express ideas through poetry, reviews, and performances while highlighting the role of literature, cinema, and creative writing in shaping perspectives and inspiring change.

The event featured a series of engaging and intellectually stimulating activities, including Slam Poetry, Film Review Competition, Book Review Competition, Poetic Relay, Book Bingo, Debates and Group Discussions on NEP 2020 Themes. Participants explored the transformative vision of NEP 2020 through creative and critical expression. The activities promoted teamwork, communication skills, and intellectual exploration, making InkSpire both entertaining and educational.

The enthusiastic participation of students made InkSpire a memorable and intellectually stimulating experience. The event enhanced students’ expressive and analytical abilities, promoted collaborative learning and creative exchange, and fostered a joyful and inspiring atmosphere reflecting the ideals of holistic education envisioned in NEP 2020.

The success of InkSpire was made possible under the coordination of Dr. Deepak Bijalwan, Coordinator of Literary Club and through the dedicated efforts of the Zenith Literary Club members: Ujjaini, Ananya, Sakshi, Anoshka, Adarsh, Kanika, Charvi, Aishwee, Vanisha, Ayush, and Amarjeet. Their teamwork and enthusiasm were instrumental in bringing this literary celebration to life.
