Outreach Awareness Program at School

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University, celebrated World Pharmacists' Day on September 25, 2025, by organizing an Outreach Program at Sangam Public School, Premnagar, Dehradun. The event was coordinated by Mr. Akhilesh Nautiyal, Assistant Professor, UIPS, along with faculty members and enthusiastic student volunteers. 

The program included interactive sessions on medicine safety, hygiene, and nutrition, highlighting the importance of pharmacists in promoting community health. To further engage the school children, UIPS students performed a Nukkad Natak (street play) focusing on the pharmacist’s role and the adoption of healthy lifestyle practices. The initiative was highly appreciated by the school administration, who acknowledged its effectiveness in raising awareness among young learners.
