Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), Uttaranchal University,
observed
Anti-Ragging Week from 12 to 18 August 2025, with a series of awareness-building activities aimed at fostering a safe and inclusive campus environment.

The week-long programme commenced with the Anti-Ragging Badge Ceremony held on 13 August 2025, where Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM, distributed badges to the members of the Anti-Ragging Cell. In his address, Prof. Suri motivated the members and reminded them of their important duties in ensuring that the campus remains ragging-free, respectful, and student-friendly.

On the same day, the Anti-Ragging Cell organised a Poster Making activity, where students showcased their creativity and expressed powerful messages against ragging through impactful visuals and slogans.

The observance concluded on 18 August 2025 with an Oath Ceremony, in which students and faculty collectively pledged to stand firmly against ragging in all its forms. The ceremony was followed by an Anti-Ragging Rally, which spread the message of unity, discipline, and zero tolerance towards ragging across the campus.

Through these initiatives, UIM reinforced its strong commitment to providing a supportive academic environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive without fear or intimidation.

All these activities were planned and executed by the Anti-Ragging Cell headed by Mr Rajesh Pant, along with Prof Babita Rawat, Mr Sanjay Chauhan, Mr Arpit Walia, Ms Rimpi Upadhyay, Dr Varun Tripathi, Mr Tarun, and Dr Amandeep Gill. On this occasion, Dr Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM, and Dr Sonakshi Bhatia, Head-Cultural and Academic Affairs, were also present.
