The Uttaranchal College of Nursing organized an Indoor Sports Competition on 30th August 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students across all batches. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, mental alertness, and sportsmanship among nursing students, while also providing them with a refreshing break from their academic routine.
Events Conducted
Badminton – Exciting singles and doubles matches were held, showcasing endurance, reflexes, and competitive spirit.
Carrom – Students displayed accuracy, patience, and concentration in both singles and doubles matches.
Table Tennis – Fast-paced matches highlighted quick reflexes and strong hand–eye coordination.
Chess – Intense rounds demonstrated logical thinking, focus, and strategic planning.
The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Shiva Malik, Sports Incharge. Assistant Professor Tushar Noel coordinated and explained the events, ensuring smooth conduct of all activities. From the student body, Rahul, Kabir, Ayush, and Shivanand volunteered to support the successful organization and management of the matches.
Winners in each game advanced to the final rounds and were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their achievements. The competition not only encouraged physical fitness and mental agility but also fostered team spirit and healthy competition, making it a memorable event for all nursing students.
