The Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT) successfully conducted a one-week workshop on “Patent Filing and Publication” from 2nd to 8th July 2025, aimed at enhancing faculty awareness of intellectual property rights.
Moderated by Dr Kapil Joshi, the workshop featured an inaugural address by the Director, Prof. (Dr.) Sumit Chaudhary, who emphasised the importance of innovation in academia. The sessions were led by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Singh, Director of DRI, Uttaranchal University, who provided valuable insights into patent drafting, filing procedures, and publication strategies.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session and was well received by participants, reinforcing UIT’s commitment to fostering a strong culture of research and innovation.
