The Faculty Induction & Orientation Programme “Deeksharambh” was organised by the School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS) at 10:30 AM on 22nd July 2025. Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, Director, SALS, welcomed all the newly inducted faculty members and introduced them to the existing faculty members of SALS.
The orientation session was conducted by the Director, who delivered a detailed presentation on the school’s mission, vision, academics, and research activities. He also provided a comprehensive overview of the University’s rules and regulations, co-curricular activities, IQAC, and other important matters pertaining to faculty and staff.
Further, Prof. Singh introduced the IQAC team of the school and briefed the new faculty about the various NAAC accreditation criteria. All the co-ordinators of different programmes, clubs, and societies were introduced, and he explained the preparation for the odd semester and the University’s ERP system. Heads, co-ordinators, and senior faculty members were present on this occasion to lend their support.
The new faculty members, Dr. Vandita Pandey, Dr. Manvika Karnatak, Dr. Paromita Mukherjee, Dr. Jerrin James, Dr. Manisha Pandey, Mr. Himanshu, Ms. Monika Bharti, Dr. Riddhima Singh, and Ms. Ankita Chanyal, also introduced themselves, expressing their commitment to give their best for the students and the organisation. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. V. K. Srivastava.
