Law College Dehradun organised the Faculty Induction Program, “ADHISTAAPAN 2025,” on 30 July 2025 under the aegis of DIQAC on the theme ‘Induction of the dynamics of Law College Dehradun’. This initiative aims to familiarise the new members of the Law College family with the dynamics, both functional and structural, the pedagogy, and the working of the college in multidisciplinary domains, in accordance with UGC regulations, the Bar Council of India, and the prospects of applying the National Education Policy 2020 to legal teaching. The FIP at Law College Dehradun is designed to break the ice with the new inductees, welcome them on board, and provide a platform for interaction and formal introduction to fellow colleagues.
The event commenced with the welcome address by the Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean, LCD; the pedagogy at LCD was discussed by Prof (Dr) Radhey Shyam Jha; the course curriculum and course files were covered by Prof (Dr) Anil Dixit; examination system, discipline, code of conduct, and mentorship were presented by Prof Jitendra Singh, Head of Management; and a brief on the student bodies alongside introductions by the chairpersons of various cells, bodies, and committees followed. Quality and benchmarking at LCD were explained by Prof (Dr) Lakshmi Priya Vinjamuri for the new inductees. The new inductees for the year were Ms Navya Raghunath Srivastava, Ms Apoorva Shukla, Ms Isha Sharma, Mr Ashok Dhobal, and Dr Alok.
A workshop session on the Learning Outcome Curriculum Framework (LOCF) was conducted by Prof (Dr) Lakshmi Priya Vinjamuri from 3 p.m. for all faculty members at the college. The vision and mission mapping with the PEOs, PSOs, and POs, along with the structure of mapping the POs with COs, was explained in detail, together with the process of devising the articulation matrix.
